Prof. Dr. Begum Sharifun Naher is a renowned Paediatrician and Neonatologist in Bangladesh. She graduated from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC) in 1985. She completed her postgraduate training in Paediatrics and obtained FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She obtained MD in Paediatrics and later specialized in Neonatology.

She has extensive experience in newborn medicine, neonatal intensive care, child diseases, growth and development, and paediatric healthcare. She has contributed to teaching, training, and research activities and has supervised postgraduate medical students.

She served as Professor and Head of Neonatology at Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital. She has participated as a speaker and chairperson in national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences.
